Supplier and Contractor Safety Guidelines

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals expects all contractors and subcontractors working for and in our facilities to be in compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety rules and regulations. Mallinckrodt maintains a comprehensive environmental health and safety program that includes systems to protect our environment, as well as contractors, contingent workers and employees working at or for a Mallinckrodt facility.

Key components of the environmental health and safety program are:

  • Contractor selection and prequalification
  • Orientation
  • Pre-work planning
  • Other activities geared toward the protection of all parties

Site-specific procedures, training and sharing of pertinent information are critical to the ongoing effectiveness of the program. These include:

  • Contractor review/prequalification system
  • Nondisclosure
  • Insurance coverage
  • Contractor requirements
  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) training
