Independent Medical Education Grants

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is committed to supporting independent, high-quality educational programs and clinical training for healthcare professionals (HCPs). This commitment includes independent, clinically relevant research that contributes to the improvement of patient care in select therapeutic areas.

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals provides financial assistance to support accredited or unaccredited educational symposia, seminars and/or sessions directed at certified healthcare professionals, where the grant recipient is solely responsible for developing the content and managing the educational program.

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals accepts Independent Medical Educations Grants (IMEG) and Clinical Training Programs (CTP) Requests. Click here to learn more about these programs and how to apply. Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals may issue a Request for Educational Grant Applications (REGA) to encourage select eligible organizations to submit a grant application.

The Grants Review Committee meets regularly to review all submissions. Grant applications must be received at least sixty (60) days prior to the activity start date to be considered eligible for funding. If the grant is approved, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals requires that a fully executed Letter of Agreement (LOA), signed by the grant requestor and Mallinckrodt, be completed prior to the commencement of the program. In addition, grant recipients are required to confirm the completion of the program and provide documentation of how funds were used.

Mallinckrodt is committed to transparency in its interactions with healthcare professionals and health care organizations/institutions consistent with applicable laws and/or codes relating to the pharmaceutical industry.
